NFL Trade Rumors? Five players that could be cut if not traded before tomorrow’s deadline
Tomorrow so many players will be released with teams cutting from 90 to 53, and I wanted to talk about five players I could see getting traded or at least dangled as trade bait before getting cut. The NFL is a what have you done for me lately business, and these players could be on the way out. Let’s talk about five guys that are super talented and could be traded by tomorrow.
Demetric Felton, RB/WR, Cleveland Browns – The Browns just traded for Pierre Strong, this is the most clear message ever. I think Felton is dealt or released in the next 24 hours. I would not be shocked if someone trades for him. He is so valuable especially on teams.
La’el Collins, OT, Cincinnati Bengals – I would not be shocked if the Bengals cut ties with Collins. There are so many players being dealt on the offensive line and there are many teams that could use a tackle. Collins struggled in his first season with the Bengals and I could see him gone as it would save the Bengals cap space.
Trevis Gipson, DE, Chicago Bears – He is one of the best young pass rushers in the game, and the Bears have already told him to seek a trade. I am not sure if this makes sense, but I could see him dealt soon. There is not a team in the NFL that could not use some help on the D-line.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs former first round pick could be out in KC. Both Isiah Pacheco and rookie Deneric Prince look amazing. Will the Chiefs only carry three running backs? If they do I could see CEH gone or traded.
Mason Rudolph, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers– I would not be shocked if Rudolph ends up back on the Steelers practice squad, but this would be a shocking cut. I could see Rudolph getting cut or traded.
