Player Summary:

The 5th Yr. Rs. Sr. aligns at RG for OHUN. Projects as an OG at the next level. Ordinarily sized at 6040, 315 LBS he has a pretty good, proportional overall build with average height, weight, and arm length. He’s compactly built with decent, thick legs and upper half. marginally sized rear end. Athletically, he’s solid. Plays with above-average vertical agility, good initial quickness, sufficient play speed, lateral agility, balance, and average redirected twitch. Initial get off is good. Shows good initial quickness out of stance and solid snap anticipation. Initial pad level is average due to average height and ordinary lower half flexibility. Solid run blocker who excels in a phonebooth. Demonstrates above-average aggression and intense demeanor at POA by attacking LBs and DL pissed off. Following well timed get-off, shows quality ability to get downhill and stay on track to good sized, average athlete 2i-3T and LBs. Good core and lower half strength is displayed when displacing good sized 2i-3T DL off LOS against their will. Following initial contact, foot pound continues and increases sufficiently to whistle. Ordinary reach blocker, utilizes average lateral agility swing to hips across the face of good sized, average athlete 2i-3T DL and walls them off well. At the second level, shows sufficient play speed, balance, and good vertical agility to climb effectively and cleanly to LB’s. Utilizes average size and very good aggression to wall off and wash out LBs well. Average pass blocker. Due to sufficient lateral agility and balance mirrors good sized, average 2i-3T well initially. Initial punch is solid, displaying above-average location and sufficient power to stun 2i-3T. Punch speed is average, handicapping ability to latch, distance, and control above average athletes with good size and quality speed along the DL. Good when picking up blitzing LBs. Quality pre snap awareness, identification, and urgency allows for effective pick up against LBs with good size and speed. Times punch well with good location and power to stun LBs coming downhill. Good punch location and timing .vs. LB blitz relays to quality ability to latch and extend against LBs with good size and speed. Needs to improve punch speed in pass pro against good size and speed 2i-3T. Average re-directive twitch leads to ordinary ability to recover against counter moves from good athletic DL and LBs.

Power Statement:

Ordinarily sized, solidly athletic OG who brings an above average, nasty demeanor as a run blocker and good punch technicality as a sufficient as a pass protector. While he demonstrates good punch patience, needs to get hands up sooner against DL with good speed and twitch to improve latch and lockout effectiveness and sustainability.
