Player Summary:
RSSR starting at WR, who started at Northwest Mississippi Community College before transferring to OHUN for the 2022 season. Out wide in a run-heavy offense, he stands with solid height and rare weight. Presents himself as a compact, big-bodied target with built calves, thicker thighs, a wide waist, with good mass in his stomach and into his chest, with built shoulders and long muscular arms. Playing exclusively from the X/Z, he is a deep threat that will go grab the football out of the air. He displays good AA with his quick feet, COD acceleration, and speed. He moves well at his large size and frame. Starting from the LOS, he displays a good release, with very good physical hands and strength to slap a jam-pressed CB, along with quick feet to manipulate a CB inside or out. Good burst and acceleration to come off the LOS and stem his route. Good ability on deep routes to keep good speed going downfield. Adequate route runner in the short and intermediate game due to adequate ability to sink hips when coming back to the ball or cutting in/out. Size and adequate fluidity cause his footwork to be choppy in quick game. Displays good body control and adjustment to the ball in the air, along with good body positioning using his very good strength to outmuscle DBs. Shows good natural hands catching the football with good catch radius and concentration to bring the ball in against contact. Good YAC due to his tremendous strength fighting through tackles and pushing the pile for extra yards. Good instincts and awareness/vision enable him to make quick cuts after the catch with a good burst to turn upfield and accelerate. Elite effort and competitive toughness as he takes no plays off, especially in the run game. Very good run blocker as he keeps a good base and will drive DBs entirely out of the play and toward the sideline.
Scheme Fit:
Run heavy offense
Power Statement:
A Compact, big-bodied WR, with solid deep-threat ability, while displaying good hands. Very good run blocker with elite competitive toughness, who could be used as a TE to excel in his play in the NFL.
