The New England Patriots may have brought themselves back in the game. The Patriots signed Running Back Ezekiel Elliott to a one-year deal for six million dollars.

New England has a dynamic duo in the Running Back room. Now with Ezekiel Elliott being added with Rhamondre Stevenson, the Patriots have a force to be reckoned with in the back field. This will be a good chance for Elliott to get his name back on the map as New England is a team that will run the ball down your throat. This is a very good opportunity for both parties in the grand scheme of things. The Patriots have depth and Elliott can build himself back up to how elite everyone remembered he was.

New England has had a solid defense for many years but since Tom Brady left, this team has been rebuilding this offense. This past offseason alone they picked up Juju Smith-Schuster in free agency to help in the wide receiver room and added depth to the offensive line to help limit the penalties they received in previous years. Other notable offensive weapons are Devante Parker, Hunter Henry and Mike Gesicki.

New England also brought in Bill O’Brien as the Offensive Coordinator to call plays. It will definitely be something to look out for as Mac Jones and Bill O’Brien have an Alabama connection. The biggest thing will be, can O’Brien bring out Mac Jones’ full potential this season as Jones took a step back last season.
