Arizona will join the Big 12 | Arizona State, Utah, Washington and Oregon next?
What is going on with the Big 12? The Big 12 is not stopping, they are trying to build a monster.
Conference realignment over the past two weeks has been insane, and Big 12 seems to be continuing their talks with other teams. They may eventually become the Big 20.
Commissioner Brent Yormark has basically saved the conference since taking over last September. He helped poach Colorado from the PAC 12 last week, and now he has a 14th member. According to Ross Dellenger, Arizona Wildcats have agreed to become the 14th member.
The next step is to get to 16 teams, according to reports, but the Big 12 is not going to slow down. They have already talked to Arizona State and Utah.
A report last night from Dellenger claims Washington and Oregon have been offered 35 to 40 million as well annually to leave. This could be wild if they were to pull off Washington, Arizona State, Utah and Oregon. The Pac 12 would disappear.
