SECOND CHANCE: Travis Rudolph added to XFL Roster playing for Orlando Guardians
Travis Rudolph has been out of football the last couple of years fighting for his life after being charged with murder in Florida, but the former New York Giants draft pick is headed to the XFL.
Orlando Guardians who have a very solid receiver room already have added Rudolph to their roster.
Rudolph played college football at Florida State and has previously played for the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins. Rudolph made national headlines after he sat and ate lunch with Bo Paske, an autistic student who was eating by himself when a student at FSU.
On April 7, 2021, Rudolph was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, and charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Ultimately, on June 7, 2023, a jury unanimously acquitted Rudolph of all charges after deliberating for about 3 hours and 40 minutes.
