Former Heisman Winner Mark Ingram hangs up his cleats for a microphone?

Mark Ingram the former Heisman Trophy Winner from Alabama will not play football in 2023. He is hanging up his cleats for a year to sign a deal with Fox Sports to be part of Fox’s college football studio show.
The 33-year old running back did not officially retire, but it sounds like he is done playing the game he loved.
“I can’t wait to feel the energy and excitement every Saturday, alongside some of the most talented and entertaining names in our sport, at the biggest games in college football,” he said in a statement.
Ingram played 12 years in the NFL for the Saints, Ravens and Texans. Ingram was a first round pick out of Alabama after a huge season for Alabama.
