What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
Elite level speed and ability to change the momentum of the game with big plays down the field.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
Straight out the womb.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
They should know that they will get everything out of me when I’m on the field.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Housing for homeless and low income families.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
“They can’t hit what they can’t catch”. That advice from my older cousin turned me into the player I am today.
Who was your childhood hero?
My parents.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Rodrick Weaver Jr. He’s a true route technician. One on one nightmare.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people assume who you are before getting to know you.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Accepting that I had anxiety and depression, and allowing myself to be vulnerable enough to ask for help.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
The family atmosphere at my school is second to nun. I’m big on family so having a school that can make me feel at home is very special to me.
What is your favorite snack food?
Hot fries and chocolate covered almonds.
What is the best part of football?
Scoring Touchdowns.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
Kylan Herrera is honest and transparent with everyone in any circumstance.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
DeSean Jackson.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
First would be Kobe Bryant because I really want to know how he developed the mindset he had. Second would be Drew Brees because he’s my favorite QB of all time. And third would be Malcom X because I respect how he stood for what he believed in with authority and power.
