Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
– I am a liberal arts major. I Have a 3.2 GPA and made the dean’s list for multiple semesters. Had a lot of growth not just mentally and physically but also academically after my first year of school.
What do your teammates say is your best quality?
-My work ethic
What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
– I see myself as a playmaker, someone who can turn the tide of a game whether it is on offense or special teams. I see myself fitting in a scheme where I’m used as a running back with the ability to line up in the slot.
Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
– Jabril Cox and Jeremy Chinn
Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
– Tory Horton
What makes you different from others in your position?
– the way I see the game, I’m more of a mental player, can know where a whole will hit before the ball is snapped, and able to play at my own pace so that I can adjust.
Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
– I would say everything it took to get to the point I’m at now.
If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
– I Would be running track
What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
– Winning two national championships
Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
– my third touchdown of the game to give my team the lead in the 2022 FCS semi-finals game
Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
– Athlete I look up to is LeBron James, and I study backs like Alvin Kamara, Le’Veon Bell, and Marshawn Lynch.
What gets you “pumped up” before a game?
– My playlist, full of all kinds of music
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
– I like to play video games and sing when nobody is around
Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
– the love of the game, networking, and giving back to my loved ones and community.
What do you want NFL teams to know about you?
– I believe in heart over everything, whatever I put my mind to I can do. I’m a hard worker who is dependable. Student of the game as well so I’m always trying to learn, I think more like a coach than a player as in how I view the game.
