Pittman’s Pocket: HBCU’s programs can still find diamonds | 5 prospects All-HBCU programs should be looking at

Rashard Godfrey, Dallas Sims, and Alvon Isaac signed with D1 programs over the past month, and all had offers from HBCU programs. Pittman’s Pocket highlighted all three prospects in the early months of recruiting for the 2024 recruiting class this past January.
Godfrey, Sims, and Isaac were all rated 3-star prospects with ratings at 85 for each prospect.
Isaac signed with USF, Godfrey to Iowa, and Dallas to Minnesota.
All 3 had HBCU offers; Jackson State offered both Sims a Canadian Prospect, and Godfrey a product from Seffner, Florida, scholarships. FAMU and Bethune-Cookman both offered Alvon and Sims.
Still HBCU coaches, you still have the opportunity to land more talent.
Here at NFLDRAFTDIAMNODS and Pittman’s Pocket, we put the month of January articles together for the August and September recruiting board for the 2023-2024 season and wanted to showcase a few players we feel can make an impact right away.
