Player Summary

6’3”, 210 pounds with a wide, athletic build, wiry lower half, and an extensive wingspan. Former high school tight end who began college at 230 pounds but dropped weight after transitioning to the wide receiver position. Can still add mass to his frame to bulk up at the next level. Tore labrum in 2021 before establishing himself as one of the most productive returning receivers in the nation in 2022. Finished second in FCS in receiving touchdowns and fifth in receiving yards. Natural hands catcher with high-level ball skills. Strong target who uses a big frame, broad length, and excellent body control to dominate the catch point on contested catches. A physical receiver who consistently gains an advantage on deep balls by stacking defensive backs while in phase. Reliable jump ball target who tracks and adjusts to the ball fluidly. Superb hand-eye coordination allows him to reel in tough catches in traffic. Skilled playmaking receiver who can create explosive plays from the boundary or the slot. High FBI is evidenced by his route-running ability; Sets up defensive backs by using deceptive burst and quickness off the LOS and drops weight/sink hips instinctively to generate sufficient separation at the top of his routes. A unique blend of speed, twitch, and power enables him to accumulate YAC in open space. Displayed some ball security concerns, but not enough to be overly concerned about his long-term viability at the next level. Tough and active blocker in the running game; Leans on his physical strength and inner motor to control the POA in one-on-one situations. Projects best as a perimeter receiver but can slide inside to take capitalize on advantageous matchups in the slot.

Scheme Fit

Possession X receiver in a pass-heavy system.

Power Statement

An intriguing prospect with impressive physical traits, prominent ball skills, and rare production from multiple receiver spots. Dependable, explosive, and productive target who excels as a vertical threat against zone and man coverage.
