Patriots still have interest in running back Dalvin Cook | Visit could happen soon

The Dalvin Cook sweepstakes are starting to heat up. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Patriots are still in talks with former Vikings running back Dalvin Cook. Both the Jets and Patriots have shown interest, and there is a possibility of him visiting the Patriots if he is not signed by the Jets.
This sounds like a leverage move if you ask me, and if I was an agent I would do the same thing. Both the Jets and Patriots are in the same division, and you push to one that the Patriots can offer more money, and the other you push Cook is about to join Aaron Rodgers and potentially cost you a playoff spot.
The AFC East is stacked and will be a very tough division. Adding a star like Dalvin Cook to either the Jets or Patriots is a big time move. We should know what is going on in the next few days. It sounds like there is some smoke, and usually where there is smoke there is fire……
