Jets will host running back Dalvin Cook for a visit

Whelp, first it was Aaron Rodgers taking a nice pay cut saving the New York Jets 35 million dollars over two years, and now reinforcements could be on the way.

According to reports, Dalvin Cook is headed to New York this weekend to meet with staff. Cook will be flying out to New York on Thursday.

The Vikings former running back is one of the top running backs in the NFL. The Jets are making a push to take over the AFC East.

Last week, Jets head coach Robert Saleh said “You never want to say no to a great player”, when asked about Cook. This move with Rodgers freeing up some cap space makes you think Rodgers wants to make a push to win it all.

Cook has rushed for at least 1,100 yards in each of the past four seasons. He had 8 touchdowns last season and gained 1,173 yards on the ground. Add Dalvin Cook to a backfield with Breece Hall and the Jets are definitely on the rise. They have some great players already and that draft class from last year was the biggest boost for their team in history,.
