What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I decided to play football because it’s a stress reliever for me. Whenever it’s a blessing to relieve stress just putting my hand in the dirt and just doing what I do best that’s causing havoc.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments are when I was at Iowa state and making relationships with my teammates, bowl games, team dinner etc.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My little sister Colicia she’s seven years old and she means the world to me. She looks up to me and I will not and can not disappoint!
What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?
This upcoming season I am looking forward to showing college football I am the best defensive lineman in this draft class. From every aspect and little detail I can see or my coaches see and correct them before season start.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
I would want to hangout with Ray Lewis simply because of his mentality, loves the game, and want to be the best every single day.
What are your favorite things about playing football for Northern Iowa?
My favorite thing about UNI football nothing is given everything is earned. It’s fast, it’s physical and and most of all, I love my coaches.
What should we know about Cordarrius Bailey the person?
Cordarrius Bailey is a person who is God loving. I believe you got to work for everything you get. Whatever do I put my heart in it. No matter how big or small it is I give everything my all!
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
I really don’t have a favorite defensive scheme I love it all at the end of the day it’s still football. In love with the game!
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
How do I handle challenges in life and on the football field? I am a God loving man. I put it in his hands and give it everything I have.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A player like me they would get the complete package physical, smart, athletic, careful with another team, most of all, I love the game of football!
What stands out about your film the most?
What stands on my film I want to dominate every play ,every second , every opportunity and I want to WIN.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Brock Purdy, one of my best friends I say that because he went last round last pick. But it was all a part of his story.
