Utah Tech offensive lineman Brian Oney found dead in his house

Brian Oney was a massive kid standing at 6’7 and a stout offensive lineman for Utah Tech. We are learning that while at his family’s house in St. George, the young prospect died.
At this point in time there is no cause of death for the Utah Tech prospect. Oney has been enrolled at Utah Teach for the past three years but had yet to see the field because of injuries.
Utah Tech head coach Paul Peterson released this statement:
“Though Brian was never able to pad up with our team, he was an excellent teammate,” “He excelled in the classroom and he was a pleasure to be around. Our hearts are broken and we extend our sincere condolences to the entire Oney family. Brian will be missed and he will forever be a part of our Trailblazer family.”
Please keep the Utah Tech team in your prayers during this tough time, and make sure you say a prayer for the Oney family. Rest in Peace Brian.
