Former New York Jets first-round pick issued an arrest warrant after failing to show to court for domestic violence

Darron Lee was a very amazing player at Ohio State and landed him being selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He would also go on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Las Vegas Raiders. I will never truly understand why football players gamble with their lives so much. It reminds me of no deposit free spins, because they are willing to risk it all.
Why do I say that?
Well, he is now about to be playing flag football in a prison somewhere. That is because Lee missed his court hearing and an arrest warrant has been issued.
Lee was scheduled in court for domestic violence and assault charges that we told you about in the Spring. Lee is now wanted and I’m sure will soon be arrested.
The Ohio State legend is being accused of punching a female relative in the head multiple times during an argument.
The relative told law enforcement officers that Lee was livid when she asked him to leave. He yelled at her and grabbed her shirt and shoved her into the wall.
The woman was then thrown to the ground and hit in the head several times, according to the police report.
Back in October, Lee was being investigated for reportedly putting his hands on the mother of his child.
Lee played in 58 total games, racked up 178 career tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 4 sacks. It is really sad to see a former Jets first-round pick end up in trouble for not taking accountability.
