Former Houston Texans defensive tackle Cedric Killings died from pancreatic cancer at 45
We are saddened to report that former Houston Texans defensive tackle Cedric Killings has passed away. He lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 45.
Killings played in the NFL for eight years before suffering a career ending injury between the Texans and Colts.
Killings had fractured his spinal column during the game and had no feeling in his lower body. He was able to get treatment in time and would not end up paralyzed. Killings was a fighter and fought cancer hard, but was not able to beat the sickness.
Please keep his wife Shavon and his three children in your prayers.
