What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I decided to play football because I fell in love with the game at a young age and it became an important of my life that defines me as a person.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments have been playing in the Texas High School State Quarterfinal game in the Alamodome, playing in AT&T stadium for the Blue-Grey All-American game, and winning the HCAC conference championship with an undefeated record my sophomore year.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I can’t just choose one because both of my parents have inspired me to work hard and have supported me through my football journey in any way they can.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I am looking forward to being able to dominate in my position and win another HCAC championship for my senior season.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would want to hang out with Larry Allen because he was one of the best offensive guards there was and it would be great to learn from him as a player.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The thing I love most about the game of football is that it is shaped in me into a great young man and has provided me with values that I will have for the rest of my life.

What should we know about Justin Pierson the person?

I am someone who has worked hard and earned everything in my life by putting in work behind the scenes.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite offensive scheme is definitely a power run scheme because I love being able to pull up into a gap and take on a linebacker, or kick out a defensive end that thinks he has an easy tackle.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges by facing them head-on and putting in the work to overcome those challenges.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a player that is very coachable and is willing to hear any kind of criticism if it will make me a better player.

What stands out about your film the most?

I would say my vision on the field stands out the most in my film because I am to find gaps while pulling and also identify twists and stunts very well.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I would say our current center Kenny is the most underrated player I’ve played with. He is about 225 lbs as but was one of the best offensive linemen in our conference.
