What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft

  • I have and can make every throw on the field & I can out stress on a defense with my arm and legs. I’m a fearless competitor and I’ll do whatever it takes to win. I’m a playmaker and can make something out of nothing

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

  • I started playing football around the age of 4 and it’s been my life every since

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

  • I’m a competitor. I late losing more than I like winning. If you get me you get me , you get a guy that’s as tough as they come and a hard working leader

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be? 

  • I would donate to Make A Wish Foundation. This foundation grants the wishes of kids fighting life-threatening illnesses. From meeting stars to trips to Disney World they make great positive impacts on these kids’ lives. 

What is the best advice you have ever received? 

  • You can’t pray about something & still be worried. God makes no mistakes do your part and let him handle the rest. 

Who was your childhood hero? 

  • My childhood hero was my mom. She made so many sacrifices and never made any excuses. She always found a way to make ends meet. It didn’t matter when or where , whenever I have a game she was there. She supports me in everything. Countless times she believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. I can’t wait to repay her for everything

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school? 

  • The most underrated teammates in the locker room to me are Tonorris Brookins (WR) and Detrick Jones(DL) . Those guys have gone through so much on and off the field but they always motivate me and push me to be the best version on myself and the best football player that I can be

What is your biggest pet peeve? 

  • My biggest pet peeves are probably fake love and liars

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome? 

  • One of the hardest times in my life ever was when all the schools I had offers from had to pull their offer because of the extra year granted from COVID Everything that I worked hard for and earned was taken away from me. It showed me that life isn’t fair but I know that God makes no mistakes. It put a chip on my shoulder, changed my mindset, and made me work the hardest I’ve ever worked. This was the turning point in my football career and I’ve gotten so much better on and off the field because of this. 

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

  • Mississippi Valley State is a small school that is very family oriented.  It’s home for me and I have to make the best of it. I will leave my mark on Mississippi Valley State. I will show people that it’s possible to get drafted from a SWAC school. 

What is your favorite snack food? 

  • My favorite snack food is Ramen Noodles

What is the best part of football? 

  • To me, the best part of football is when you see & feel yourself getting better. I love to trust the process and it’s no better feeling than knowing that you worked hard for something that you wanted and finally got it 

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? 

  • My approach to the game is so different. I will instantly make an impact and can make any team better with my mentality, competitive nature,  IQ and understanding of the game, and also my skillset and abilities that I bring to the table. I’m humbly one of the best football players in the country

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be? 

  • I feel like I have different pieces from a lot of NFL guys in different ways. I model my game after Aaron Rodgers but I sometimes may show flashes of Deshaun Watson and Josh Allen. But at the same time those guys have already made their mark , I have to add my name to that list. One day there has to be a Jamari Jones

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  • It would be Aaron Rodgers , Josh Allen, and My dad. I would choose Aaron and Josh because they are my favorite football players and my dad because he passed away 2 years ago and I just want one more conversation. I hope I am making him proud
