Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should hopefully get a chance to be picked up by NFL, CFL, USFL, and XFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. So I hope you all read this interview here with Jahlil Brown Defensive Back.

What is your typical training routine?

My typical training routine throughout the week I do a variation of things, Monday is cardio, Tuesday I do field training mixed with weights,
Wednesday active rest and recovery type day, Thursday gym again, Friday field work mixed with cardio and poly metrics, Saturday and Sunday recovery day.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite football moments from my life were winning a national championship in high school on ESPN and having a great game against Miami Hurricanes and also winning a college championship which I got player of the game for.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Honestly my immediate family inspires me the most just seeing them to continue to show support for me and do the necessary things for me to succeed inspires me a lot.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

My favorite defensive scheme is a 4-2-5 just of the fact you got more linemen out there and that can lead to turnovers and 5 DB’s so there’s not a lot of mismatch situations out there you also can call different calls from that scheme.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

The things I’m looking forward to achieving going forward is making my dream come true which is playing professional football and getting better in all aspects of the game and solely my position and just growing as an man.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love everything that comes with it, the fans, the excitement, the preparation honestly man just the ability to go out and have fun with a childhood sport that’s what I love the most about the game just playing it and getting to hit somebody as hard as you can legally.

What should we know about Jahlil Brown the person?

Jahlil Brown the person is a caring, passionate, humble and creative guy that loves the game and everyone around him. Always looking for ways to help the youth and guys around him also a great leader on and off the field. I’m just an respectful young man who wants better for the universe and anyone I encountered I want to effect the world in a positive and uplifting way.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

The way I handle challenges is by staying positive and praying and also just saying affirmations to myself I try not to get too low or too high with anything. So the way I handle problems is by working out and keeping a realistic mindset and trusting god, the universe and my angels to guide me.

What past or present NFL coach do you want to learn from the most and why?

I would’ve love to learn from Dick LeBeau and DeMeco Ryans, just off the fact they instilled hard nose football and the way they schemed offenses and they put there players in positions to succeed and make game changing plays, and I feel as though those coaches could take my game to extremely high level.

What is the most elite thing you do and why?

The most elite thing I do is knowing how to tackle and take perfect angles, I look at football as an art but also science when you start to break down the game components it becomes easier for you.

What is your message to teams who want to take a look at you?

My messages to teams who take a look at me is that you are getting an relentless, gritty, hardworking, coachable talent that has the ability to thrive in any situation and will do anything necessary to help his team win and is extremely vocal and wants the best out of everybody.

What stands out about your film the most?

I see and react to plays at an extremely fast rate, the way I come down hill and make open field tackles stands out the most you can put me anywhere on the field and I won’t get exploited.
