What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

One of the things that made me want to play football was watching football in Haiti and then coming to America to see it in person and also that football can take you to college and you can play it professionally and make money too.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Is just that people come together to build a band of brothers and the family atmosphere of it is also one of my favorite things about the game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Mother, she came to America and left everything back in Haiti and came to America to work her tail off, working multiple jobs to support her family in Haiti and that’s where I get my work ethic from it’s from her.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

Looking forward to getting All Conference for a 4th year and also winning a National Championship and Conference Championship and improving my pass rush.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Ray Lewis, he’s my guy and he motivates me and he worked his tail off to support his mom at the highest level and I want to do that as well.

What stands out about your film the most?

How explosive I am for my weight at 295 lbs and how I am able to stop the run and how I am moving around to stop the quarterback.

What should we know about Gardy Paul the person?

Comes from humble beginnings and I came from a place with nothing and I’ve seen what hard work does and even if I don’t know something I am going to work hard to figure it out.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3, just moving to make the offensive linemen uncomfortable because they expect you to pass rush from one lane and I like looping around finding other lanes.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Just knowing there’s someone out there who could have it worse than you and there’s always someone out there doing worse than you and it will all get better.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone that loves football and they are going to get a hard worker with a passion for football and someone who plays hard in the 4th quarter and overtime when some people give up.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love how you can hit someone physically and nothing will happen to you outside of a penalty flag.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jacquez Carter, he was first team all conference and is a really underrated player and if you put the ball in his hands he makes plays and because he played at the NAIA level he gets overlooked.
