What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
- What makes me a top prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft is that I possess much of the top qualities of the top kickers in the league. I have good size and physical stature along with strength. I have the ability to remain calm under pressure and I am consistent.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
- I was first interested in football at 14 years old.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
- One thing that NFL teams should know about me is that I do not lack confidence and I am a team player that brings a great personality and sense of humor. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
- If I could donate to one cause in the world, I would donate to the local humane societies to help animals in need.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
- The best advice I have ever received is if you’re gonna piss like a puppy, stay on the porch and let the big dogs eat.
Who was your childhood hero?
- My childhood hero is Ricky Bobby because he likes to win and does it with a sense of humor.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
- The most underrated teammate in our locker room is our long snapper, Kyle Forsley. He is the ultimate team player and comradery builder, as he brings energy to every teammate and in everything we do. He does the dirty work, and all the things no one is willing to do.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
- My biggest pet peeve is people who do not want to win and do not have a sense of urgency, also non team players.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
- Moments of adversity I overcame were getting overlooked by the bigger schools when I was being recruited in high school as well as sitting behind the starting kicker my first two years of college even though in my heart, I knew I should have started.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
- Something that is very special about my school is that it is a small close-knit community where everyone supports each other, and everybody knows your name.
What is your favorite snack food?
- My favorite snack foods are tootsie rolls, sour skittles, and Texas Roadhouse peanuts.
What is the best part of football?
- The best part of football besides winning is my team and the great relationships I have made.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
- I am a winner who will do whatever it takes to be the best and do the best for my team.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
- I would compare my play to Justin Tucker in the NFL.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- If I could have dinner with three people dead or alive it would be my grandpa Bobby who passed away before I was born, Will Ferrell, and Bill Belichick. I chose my grandpa because I have never met him, and he is a World World II veteran. Will Ferrell would be at the dinner because not only was he a kicker in high school, but because he is my favorite actor. Lastly, Bill Belichick would be at the dinner table because he is the greatest coach of all time.
