What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft

My ability to manipulate the game with both my arm and legs. Being a student of the game, understanding situations, knowing what the defense is trying to do and using it to my advantage. I have the ability to make any throw on the field, while have pocket awareness.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I was around 8/9 years old. My brother and all of my friends were already playing so I wanted to tag along.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’m a self driven competitor. I have a drive within myself to want and get better regardless of any outside motives.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to mental health awareness. I would like for people to know the importance of mental health and how it could affect someone if they decide to push it off to the side.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Don’t stress yourself worrying about things you can’t control. Focus on what you can control. Put your trust in God, and believe that he has it under control. Don’t Worry, Relax.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mom and aunt. Growing up you tend to not notice things your parents/guardians do to provide for you and making sure you’re safe. That is how I got my work ethic and drive.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Torricelli Simpkins, Offensive Lineman

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Ignorant people, and those who are rude for no reason.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I would say life in general. I had countless of opportunities to give up on myself and my dream of playing football professionally. From growing up in a violent, poverty environment, to every limitation put against me.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

It was founded in 1910 by James E. Shepard. NCCU gave a place to grow, not just as an athlete, but also as a man. They gave me an opportunity to showcase my talents while also being able to say I graduated and played at the best HBCU in the country.

What is your favorite snack food?

Gummy Bears

What is the best part of football?

The bonds created from the sport.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I am a resilient, hardworking, child of God that will always try to find a way to make the impossible possible.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Jalen Hurts

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Jesus ; It will bring me peace in this life of uncertainty.
  2. Tom Brady ; I will be able to ask him how he accomplished his journey to being the greatest ever.
  3. Shaq ; talk to him about being marketable
