What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I grew up playing almost every sport. But the joy I got from the moment I picked a football up I knew then that football was for me.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Probably my last high school game it was a bittersweet moment but I was grateful to share the field with my brothers for one last time.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom easily, she came to America at 13 years old due to a civil war in Liberia and has worked extremely hard to make sure me and my brother have opportunities to succeed in life. One of the hardest working, humble, and caring person I know.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Gannon?

The people I’ve met while being here. A lot having the same mentality and goals as me makes the college experience much more enjoyable. All the vets and coaches that were able to gives me wisdom and insight I feel is rare compared to other schools. People make places, programs, and culture we have the right people.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Troy Polamalu grew up watching him play. I love everything about his game on and off the field. Would love to talk ball obviously but also just life.

What are you most elite at and why?

Understanding route concepts and the flow of a games especially in zone coverage. I have a feel for the game that allows me to play faster than most guys on the field.

What should we know about Chris Farnsworth the person?

I’m a God fearing young man that feels a call to motivate others. I have a big heart, but I’m also hungry to succeed. I’m always striving to become a better version of myself.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

3-3-5/4-2-5 it’s so versatile in the amounts of different looks and coverages you can throw at the offense. Especially with how creative teams are getting in the pass game. As long as the extra db/hybrid LB is a force in the run.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Preparation I grew up believing that if you stay ready you don’t have to get ready. But also everything happens for a reason not every outcome is going to go your way no matter how hard you work or prepare. It’s about your attitude and how you bounce back and learn from the challenges/experiences.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A self starter, a competitor someone who doesn’t back down in big moments. But most importantly an unselfish team player that understands it’s about we as a team and not me.

What stands out about your film the most?

My play recognition and willingness to get dirty in the trenches every play.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

That’s hard because I feel there were times where our whole defense was underrated. But Keith Thompson a LB who graduated this year he had out of this world instincts would blow plays up but also had fumble causing power when tackling.
