Breaking: Detroit Lions send former 1st-round pick CB Jeff Okudah to the Falcons for a 5th-round pick
The Detroit Lions are trading former No. 3 overall pick CB Jeff Okudah to the Atlanta Falcons for a fifth-round pick, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media Insiders.
Jeff Okudah was the third overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Ohio State and is just 24 years old.
He played his best NFL ball to start last season with a red-hot start.
The Falcons acquire a young, talented corner as they continue to reshape their secondary.
In the offseason, Detroit signed Emmanuel Moseley and Cam Sutton. The team could be in a position to pick the top CB in the draft as well.
