Winning the national championship. Breaking records. Building a bond with my teammates. Meeting lifetime friends
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My son, seeing him at the games just excited to see me play gives me an extra motivation, it also makes me happy because anything that has to do with me on the field he’s jumping for joy and proud to see his dad play.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Spread because it is designed to spread the defense out and create space and I tell my offensive linemen just get me to the 2nd level and we will be off the field in a little bit.
What should we know about Jamar Thompkins the person?
I’m a person who realize it’s better to keep a smiley face and not dwell over anything you can’t control my favorite quote is “If you are not having fun with it you are done with it.” The meaning of the quote to me is do what you enjoy in life don’t settle for anything.
What stands out about your film the most?
My ability to meet people miss. And my separation speed.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Handling problems on the field I just go back to work. We were showed in film. And rely on my coach to call the right play to put us in a better position. And life I realize that things are only temporary. You can be going through anything at that moment, but in the future it will make you stronger.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A diamond in the rough I’m someone that has been looked over my whole life but when I got my shot I’m always proving people wrong.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love fact that no matter what’s going on in a game if you band together with your brothers you can overcome anything.

Seth McGill, the reason why I say Seth is because he’s one of the most versatile players I ever played with. And I felt like we didn’t use him enough all over the field.
