The family of Dwayne Haskins has filed a lawsuit claiming he was drugged and blackmailed

It has been one year since Dwayne Haskins the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was struck and killed in South Florida by a dump truck taking his life.

Today, his attorney has presented a civil lawsuit to the courts claiming his client was drugged and blackmailed before his death.

The letter is pretty interesting from Rick Ellsley of Ellsley Law Firm.

The filing states that the dump truck that struck Haskins was speeding, carrying excessive cargo, had brake system issues, and had tires with low tread.

The driver refused to submit to a blood test at the scene and no blood alcohol test results have been provided.

Haskins’ family believes he was “targeted and drugged as part of a blackmail conspiracy”, because his watch was stolen from him before his death.
