Rumor: NFL Teams believe the Cardinals will release wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins

Could the Arizona Cardinals end up releasing DeAndre Hopkins and getting nothing in return?
The rumors are swirling and it sounded like the Cardinals wanted at least a second round pick for their star wide receiver, but now there is a report that NFL teams feel he will be released outright.
According to Albert Breer, some NFL teams think that the Cardinals will be releasing Hopkins due to the lack of interest in trading for his contract.
Could Hopkins get axed?
Breer appeared on the Greg Bedard Podcast, stating that “Some teams think that Cardinals are going to cut him, they think the Cardinals will wind up cutting him.” Breer said, “His market is not great right now.” He further added, “There’s nobody who was willing to take on Hopkins’ contract and pay the Cardinals initial asking price.”
If the Cardinals do in fact cut Hopkins, you can expect the Patriots, Chiefs, Bills, Ravens and more teams interested in him. There have been reports that Hopkins wants to play on a team that has a chance to win it all. The Chiefs and Bills definitely fit that bill.
