Report: Josh Harris and Magic Johnson reach agreement to buy the Commanders

The Josh Harris group has reached a preliminary agreement to buy the Commanders from Daniel Snyder for $6.05 billion, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
It is still not finalized, the deal is not signed, and the group led by Steve Apostolopoulos still is involved in the process, but Harris’ groups seems to be in the driver’s seat.
In May 1999, Dan Snyder led the group that paid $800 million to purchase the Washington Redskins. Twenty four-years later, Snyder is expected to get back in excess of $6 billion in the sale of the Commanders.
Jeff Bezos is not going to bid on the Washington Commanders.
