Video: Cam Newton says he is willing to be a back-up | Releases 11 places he would like to play
Cam Newton is willing to be a back-up. He is no longer wanting to be the starting quarterback but released a list of 11 places today he would love to play for.
He actually still believes he is better than some of the 32 starters in the NFL, but is willing to accept a back-up role.
“There ain’t 32 guys that’s better than me,” Newton said. “But I also know that I could also be a backup, and I’m willing to be a backup.”
Cleveland Browns already have their backup quarterback in Joshua Dobbs but Cam Newton says he would like to backup Deshaun Watson.
Newton named 11 quarterbacks he’d be willing to assume a backup role behind.
