Willie McGinest the standout pass rusher for the New England Patriots and the broadcaster for NFL Network is facing two felony charges over a brawl that left a man bloody.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed the charges this week. McGinest was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon, and one count of assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury.

McGinest could land 8 years in prison for the violent attack. Both charges carry four years in prison. The arraignment will take place in April.

The footage appears to show McGinest socking the guy in the face before later picking up a bottle and smashing it into the man’s head. This attack took place on December 9th at the Delilah a fancy restaurant in Hollywood.

McGinest was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, and has been suspended from his role with the NFL Network since the incident.
