Colorado Commit Omar White arrested on multiple felony charges in a shooting in Georgia

Deion Sanders is trying to turn the Colorado football program around, and he has been getting scrutinized for his comments about finding recruits and what he is looking for, but he could be without one major recruit.

According to reports, Omar White, the massive defensive lineman from Valdosta, Georgia could be going to prison for quite some time if found guilty on several charges to include felony aggravated assault, felony aggravated battery and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime after alleged shootings in late February.

A total of three people were shot and later treated and released in what was described as “separate but related shootings”. White’s alleged role isn’t specified.

But when it comes to defensive lineman, Sanders (somewhat) jokingly says that “single mama” and “he’s on free lunches … trying to rescue mama” is what he looks for.

I am not sure how this is going to play out but these are very serious crimes. Omar White is a consensus top 150 prospect in the country, so this is a huge accusation.
