Baltimore Ravens continue to toy with QB Lamar Jackson | Place the Non-Exclusive Tag on him

Baltimore Ravens are playing with a very good quarterback. I hope it blows up in their face.
The Ravens today announced they placed the Franchise Tag (Non Exclusive Tag) on quarterback Lamar Jackson.
What does that mean though? Well, the Ravens are playing with fire is what that means potentially.
The tag is worth 32.4 million dollars this year, but allows another team to negotiate an offer sheet with Jackson.
The Ravens have the right to match or get two first round picks if they decline.
The Ravens could be allowing the NFL to set Lamar’s price before they give him a deal. The problem is there are a ton of Quarterback needy teams right now.
I would not be shocked if a team like the Commanders come and offer a stupid contract. It would be smart for Dan Snyder who is trying to sell the Washington Commanders. Adding a Franchise Quarterback could ultimately help push him over the top.
