Keytaon Thompson shines at UVA pro day
Wide receiver Keytaon Thompson is making noise at the team’s pro day today in Charlottesville. With 22 NFL teams and one CFL team in attendance, the 6-4 218 wideout is trying to make a name for himself at the University of Virginia’s annual pro day.
Thompson’s vertical was 34.5″ and finished with the best broad jump at an even 10 feet, according to 247Sports journalist Jacquie Franciulli.
A former quarterback, Thompson emerged as a do-everything player at Virginia. He played out wide, in the slot, as a wing, takes handoffs, and even gets to throw the football on occasion.
Thompson led the Hokies in catches with 53 and 579 yards receiving last season. He represented the Hokies at the 2023 Hula Bowl, playing wideout for Team Aina.
