DeAndre Hopkins trade rumors: Several teams interested as talks for Cardinals WR heat up
With Brandin Cooks recently traded to the Dallas Cowboys the next wide receiver to likely be traded will be DeAndre Hopkins.
The DeAndre Hopkins Trade Rumors are SWIRLING…..
According to Ian Rapoport, the talks are heating up and several teams are expected to be interested.
Hopkins has a non-guaranteed base salary of $19.45 million for 2023, and a non-guaranteed base salary of $14,915,000 for 2024. The team that trades for him is going to have to account for his salary increase.
Arizona was reportedly seeking a second-round pick and an additional pick for Hopkins, who will be 31 years old before the start of the 2023 season.
I would not be shocked if the Patriots, Chiefs, Titans, Ravens, or even the Colts express interest. Today, Josina Anderson said the Browns will not be in the sweepstakes, but they are hosting veteran wide receiver Marquise Goodwin for a visit today.
In 2022, Hopkins appeared in nine games for the Cardinals and hauled in 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns. He is a very solid wide receiver and someone will be pumped to add him to their wide receivers room. I wish the Bills could afford him because that would be fun to watch!
