Could Kansas City Chiefs add Carson Wentz as Mahomes back up? They have the best odds to land him

The Kansas City Chiefs will need a back up quarterback with Chad Henne hanging up his cleats after the Super Bowl, and there is one player who seems to make a ton of sense.
Carson Wentz was recently released by the Washington Commanders and he is now the favorite to be Patrick Mahomes back up.
According to BetOnline, the Chiefs are +300 favorites to land the ex-Washington Commanders quarterback.
Here are all the odds:
- Chiefs +300
- Buccaneers +400
- Raiders +600
- Panthers, Falcons, Bills, Cardinals +700
- Jets, Texans +800
- Saints +1000
- Any CFL Team +2000
- Any XFL Team +2000
The only other quarterback the Chiefs have under contract in 2023 is 25-year-old seventh-round pick Chris Oladokun.
I mean it would be pretty interesting to see. I mean the best thing would see him go to the XFL and win a Championship to help the XFL blow up, but that won’t happen.
