Cam Newton is going to throw in front of NFL scouts today at Auburn’s Pro Day | Does he deserve a shot in the NFL?
I need to know what you think about Cam Newton. Why is he being black balled from the NFL? Is he the new Colin Kaepernick?
I know you are going to start talking trash at this point, but let’s talk about him for a minute. Cam Newton was a specimen when he came into the NFL and for a long time he was pretty damn dominant. What changed?
Well, yesterday the former Auburn quarterback made the news when he announced he would be throwing at the Auburn pro day today in front of NFL scouts.
Cam Newton has not played in the NFL since 2021. However, Newton clearly feels he is better than some of the quarterbacks currently in the league today. The former MVP is looking for an opportunity to prove his theory right.
Well today he will get his shot. The gunslinger will throw in front of scouts. If a scout likes him maybe he can earn a contract, or maybe he will continued to be blackballed.
Newton in 11 years has thrown for 32,382 yards and 194 touchdowns.
I mean at this point, I am not sure he is better than a starter but he is definitely better than David Blough who was signed yesterday by the Cardinals. Why wouldn’t the Cardinals sign him? Kyler Murray is going to miss half the year. I mean at this point, give him a couple games to showcase his talents. I don’t understand it, but I have a feeling he will not get called.
