Dan Campbell once delivered an epic speech that talked about biting his opponents knee caps. That always stuck with me, because that is the team he wanted to become in Detroit.

“And, we’re going to stand up, and then it’s going to take two more shots to knock us down. And, on the way up, we’re going to take your other kneecap, and we’re going to get up and then it’s going to take three shots to get us down. And, when we do, we’re going to take another hunk out of you.

This weekend the Lions added a player I feel fits that description well and they landed him on a one year prove it deal.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson is a freaking dog, that is versatile. He does not care where you put him, he is going to give you his all. There were many teams that stayed away from him because he plays mean. He is not afraid of telling you how he feels, or speaking his mind. Shoot but he will also throw some damn hands. Ask Javon Wims…..

The Lions got tougher this weekend with this signing. C.J. Gardner-Johnson has great ball skills and does not allow many passing yards.

The former fourth-round pick by the Saints in 2019, he has 11 interceptions, 36 passes defended and 20 tackles for loss over four seasons.

I really like this signing by the Lions. This was an A+ signing for the Lions and Dan Campbell. I feel bad for the NFC North’s QB’s kneecaps, because this kid is a dog.
