Bills Trade Rumors: Could the Bills be on the verge of trading defensive tackle Ed Oliver?

Could the Buffalo Bills be on the verge of trading defensive tackle Ed Oliver? Just a couple weeks ago, former first round pick Ed Oliver who has been underwhelming at times for the Buffalo Bills posted this on his Instagram account and immediately removed it.

The post said in all capital letters, “Show Me The Money or Ion Wanna Talk!!!” It has since been deleted.

The former ninth overall pick has played out his first four years and the Buffalo Bills did pick up the fifth year option on the former Houston Cougar defensive lineman.

Oliver is guaranteed 10.573 million in 2023 which is a huge jump from the 3.1777 million cap he had in 2023.

There are many reports that the Bills may be trying to trade the former first rounder, because they may not be able to lock him up long term.

A couple weeks at the combine, Sean McDermott talked about the Ed Oliver situation and said he watched him develop and has been great at effecting the quarterback. Well, now the former defensive tackle posted another thing on his social media account.

He posted the lyrics to Future’s Love You Better on his IG and has fans wondering if he could be traded soon.

Well, he then posted goodbye on his IG account, saying Enjoyed Myself. There are too many cryptic messages being sent out.

Could the Buffalo Bills trade Ed Oliver which would free up some space and add a veteran wide receiver? One name to keep an eye on is DeAndre Hopkins. Daniel Jeremiah posted that the Bills are a likely destination, but if they do not trade a player there is no way they could add his contract. So this is an early development, and could mean nothing, but at least we can keep an eye on it.
