Three South Carolina Gamecock football players were suspended for hiding an AR-15 in Apartment

Three South Carolina Gamecock football players were suspended for hiding an AR-15 weapon in their campus apartment, according to reports.
According to the Greenville News, freshman Anthony Rose was detained after police knocked on his door. Rose reportedly threw the AR-15 weapon out the window into a common area, when two of his friends and teammates retrieved the rifle and tried to conceal it.
The report says cameras caught the one of the men putting the rifle in his pants to conceal it.
The two others suspended were freshmen Cameron Upshaw and Monteque Rhames. Upshaw was charged with possessing a weapon on school grounds and obstructing justice.
Rhames was charged with obstructing justice and carrying weapons on school property.
The police were looking into a complaint that was filed when Rose was observed in a photograph holding the AR-15 rifle. When campus security and local law enforcement went to the apartment is when all the drama happened.
