Traeshon Holden Arrested: Former Alabama WR Dismissed from Oregon after Felony Arrest

Traeshon Holden was expected to be a big-time NFL Draft Prospect, and his path to the NFL is not going as planned.
The former Alabama wide receiver who transferred to Oregon was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, coercion, and menacing. The first two charges are felonies and the third is a misdemeanor.
Holden is still in custody, and has not yet been arraigned.
Police responded to a fight outside an apartment complex, where Holden reportedly pulled a firearm out and threatend to shoot someone after they intervened in the fight.
Holden was arrested after police found the weapon.
Oregon acted quickly and kicked the former Bama WR out of school.
Here was their statement:
“We are aware of the incident involving Traeshon Holden and he has been dismissed from our team,” Lanning said. “We have a high standard for the student-athletes, coaches, and staff in our football program, and we are disappointed when these standards are not met. We will hold everyone accountable for meeting our expectations.”
