What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I loved the competitiveness of football and I was playing with are my childhood friends.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Help win a franchise a lot of football games and eventually a Super Bowl, while being a figure in the community and dominate on the football field.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Shannon Sharpe, I wanna learn his ways and get some mentorship from him on a business level and football spectrum.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning a state title in high school. Going to the college football playoffs.1st interception in college in the Rose Bowl stadium. 1st TD in college at the Panthers stadium. Bowl win against Coastal Carolina.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My father and grandfather they’re very hard working men who do a lot for the family and set a great example for myself and the other men in my family.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Big fan of the spread offense I like how it allows TE to play in space and be matched up with linebackers, nickels or safeties.

What should we know about Ryan Jones the person?

I’m a hard worker I’ve been through adversity and have overcome it every time. I’m strong in my faith in God and work my hardest for a better life for myself and my family.

What stands out about your film the most?

My athletic ability and different positions I lined up at rather it be in the slot, fullback, TE, outside wr, running back, I learned the whole offense.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Always excelled when faced with challenges growing up I had to adapt and make things work so from a young age I’ve always made the best of hard situations. Only played 2 years of offense in college at East Carolina, 2021 and 2022 season going into last year was a John Mackey award nominee, Reese’s watchlist nominee I finished the 2 years with 855 receiving yards, 9 TDS, 78 receptions.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player you can plug in anywhere on the field, who will give his all on special teams and wants to win football games with a passion.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The competitiveness and the 1 on 1 match up it gives you and you truly get out of football what you put into it.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Isaiah Winstead, he is a very hard worker and is humble, he doesn’t say much.
