Former Wisconsin WR Marcus Randle El was convicted of shooting and killing two women

Marcus Randle El, the former Wisconsin wide receiver has been convicted of two counts of first-degree murder. Marcus Randle-El was charged in the shooting deaths of two females in February of 2020.

A jury quickly deliberated and found the former Badger guilty on the murder charges.

Randle-El was also convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and another count of operating a vehicle without consent while possessing a weapon.

According to police reports, Randle El reportedly killed one of the women because he believed she was informing the police about his drug dealings. He killed the other woman to ensure there were no witnesses.

Antwaan Randle El, the brother, and the current wide receivers coach for the Detroit Lions was in the court room during the trial.
