Arkansas State football commit Kevion Davis arrested for the murder of a 17-year-old female
Kevion Davis a star football player from Brownsville is facing murder charges after shooting and killing a female in Tennessee over the weekend.
Kevion Davis is a 6’8, 230 pound pass rusher and wide receiver who recently committed to Arkansas State on Twitter. He is now facing life in prison for murder.
According to reports, Davis along with a 16-year-old were at a basketball game watching Haywood play Ripley when someone began firing at a vehicle with three people in it.
The victim, 17-year-old Christine Michael, was in the back seat and was struck by one bullet in her lower back. A 13-year-old passenger in the same car had a minor shrapnel injury. The driver was not injured.
Davis was booked in the Haywood County jail with no bond and held on first-degree murder charges.
