Georgia star linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson arrested for drag racing and reckless driving
According to police reports, a Georgia football player was arrested and charged with racing on highways/streets and reckless driving.
Jamon Dumas-Johnson the star Bulldogs linebacker was arrested on Wednesday for an incident that took place last month, according to reports.
The charges stem from a January 10th incident where two vehicles were racing one another and fled when they noticed an officer nearby.
That was the day Georgia returned home from beating TCU in the National Championship game 65-7.
Police logs show that in the car crash of his teammate that passed away police wanted to speak with Dumas-Johnson and Smael Mondon as well. The reasoning is unclear.
Dumas-Johnson had a huge season racking up 70 tackles and was a finalist for the Butkus Award.
