Kansas High School football player Eric Miller died from injuries suffered during a fight
Eric Miller an 18-year-old high school football player from Leavenworth is dead after a fight broke out after a basketball game.
The Leavenworth, Kansas Football Booster Club announced that Miller died the day after the fight from injuries.
“It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share that Eric Miller, our loved senior #22, has passed this evening. We thank everyone who has provided their prayers and well wishes.”
Miller was rushed to the local hospital, but the star football player did not make it.
Investigators have submitted the case to the Leavenworth County Attorney’s Office. Police say witnesses helped them identify a 19-year-old suspect.
