Former Ohio State star wide receiver Dimitrious Stanley is dead at 48 after a battle with cancer

Former Ohio State wide receiver Dimitrious Stanley was best known for his incredible performance in the 1997 Rose Bowl when he hauled in a 72 yard both to help propel the Buckeyes past Arizona State and Jake Plummer.
The star wide out was battling a diagnosis of cancer since 2019. His former teammate Tyson Gentry started a Go Fund Me to help his friend, and Stanley actually went into remission.
Unfortunately, Cancer returned, and Stanley passed away this week at the age of 48.
Stanley was suffering from prostate cancer, and was battling for several years. Stanley had a great career at Ohio State and would end up playing in the Canadian Football League with Winnipeg and even spend some time in the Arena Football League.
Keep praying for the Stanley family. This is a horrible death, he was so young.
