Patrick Mahomes has been taken to the locker room, after suffering a scary-looking ankle/leg injury. It looks like it could be a high ankle sprain or an MCL sprain. It was bad looking.
Mahomes was in obvious discomfort after his leg got caught under Jaguars defensive lineman Arden Key as he threw a pass.
Mahomes’ leg twisted beneath him, and he was unable to put much weight on it as he returned to the huddle.
Kansas City’s backup is 37-year-old Chad Henne, the former Jaguar who has started one game over the past eight years.
