What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I was sitting outside just watching football practice when I was 16 and a coach named Wayne Lance asked me did I want to play I said no at first but then shortly after he kept asking I tried it out and end up falling in love with it.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to be able to complete my dreams of playing professionally and being able to teach the young kids who were once like me that it is possible and can be done with discipline and consistency.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

It would be Larry Allen because I embody his game just a big strong guard trying to rip every defensive players head off but I’m a nice guy off the field.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning the Valley Of the Sun bowl in Junior College is my favorite moment we really worked hard to get there and we just had a different team that year I miss those guys everyday.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Grandma, Mom, Sister and my high school Coach Wayne Lance because they mean the world to me and show me that I through never giving up you can get some where in life and I just want to make there life easier because they never gave up on me and are always praying for me.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I like a good inside zone run I love moving a grown man and dumping him on his back so that my running back can get yards and score touchdowns I also like mesh concepts with post over the top because I like finding work in pass pro if I don’t have any.

What should we know about Kelvin Watts the person?

He’s a good ,spirited, hard working, passionate guy who wants to win by any means necessary and loves people. I just want everybody to feel comfortable and be able to get there job done to the best of there ability.

What stands out about your film the most?

I want everybody to touch the ground I don’t care who it is.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Try to have a clear mind and heart and knowing that you are going through everything for a reason good or bad just learn how to keep pushing forward because it always gets greater later.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A guy ready to do whatever to win I don’t care if I got to get the water I’m there trying to do whatever coach wants me to do to win and will always be ready when my name is called and will push my teammates to be the best they can be very passionate about this game man I love it.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

How you can be yourself and how you can come in build a brotherhood with guys you would probably have never met or talked to before y’all put them pads on and now y’all going to war forever on the grass, the ups and the downs, the wins and the losses just love it all.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

We had a defensive lineman at Glenville named Cole he could ball but barely got a shot so I would say him.
