Stephen F. Austin wide receiver Graylan Spring died after colliding with an 18-wheeler in Texas

Stephen F. Austin wide receiver Graylan Spring died from injuries sustained in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler.
Graylan’s high school football team Vandegrift High School posted this on their Twitter page.
According to police reports, Spring was a passenger in a Nissan Versa driven by Micah McAfoose a former baseball player at SFA.
McAfoose was pronounced dead at the scene and Spring was airlifted to a Conroe hospital. Spring later died at the hospital.
Stephen F. Austin head coach Colby Carthel said this message in a statement from SFA>
“Our hearts are broken at the loss of Graylan, and our prayers go out to the amazing Spring family,” Carthel said in a statement from SFA. “What a tremendous loss for those of us fortunate to know Graylan. He was a true champion, both on and off the field, and his legacy will love on forever within the Lumberjack football program.”
Please pray for the friends and families of both these young men. Rest in Peace Graylan.
